     Mary Jean Bledsoe was born on 9 July 1924. She was the daughter of Ervin Clyde Bledsoe and Lora Escille Sprinkle. Mary Jean Bledsoe married William Nicholas Botts Jr., son of William Nicholas Botts and Frances R. Horton, 1945.

     Mary Jean Bledsoe died 31 July 2015 in Elizabethton, Carter County, Tennessee.
