     Jo Anne Surface was born on 20 February 1931 in Wolf Lake, Noble County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Claude Eldon Surfus and Loena Gandy. Jo Anne Surface married Shirley Lee Garrison.

     Nina Lou Surface was born on 11 August 1933 in Wolf Lake, Noble County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Claude Eldon Surfus and Loena Gandy. Nina Lou Surface married James J. Eash.

     Nina Lou Surface died 21 September 2005 in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana.
